About Rainbow Play Systems
We’ll Help You Make an Informed Decision
Choosing a swing set, trampoline, basketball hoop or rubber mulch is a big decision especially when safety, durability, and long-term value matter. We’re parents too, and we believe families should be able to see, touch, and compare play equipment before bringing it home.
Rainbow Play Systems has grown from a small custom shop in Minnesota to a high-tech playset manufacturing operation, with more than one million Rainbow play systems in backyards worldwide. While the scale has changed, the focus has not: safety, durability, and fun built for the way kids really play.
Why Families Choose Rainbow
When families compare play systems, a few things matter most: safety, longevity, customization, and support. Here’s what sets Rainbow apart:
Best warranty in the industry
Family-owned with 40+ years of experience
Modular design so you can personalize and expand over time
Solid big-beam construction (no laminated or glued timber)
Safety-first design “safety is our first thought, not an afterthought”
Solutions for small and sloped yards
Our Mission
To help parents build a lifetime of memories for their children by offering only the safest, highest-quality swing sets and trampolines, backed by a commitment to service and satisfaction.
What We Offer
Residential Swing Sets & Commercial Playgrounds
Rainbow swing sets are built for kids to grow into not out of, with layouts and accessories you can customize to match your yard and your child’s age and interests.
Trampolines
We carry trampoline options designed for durability and safe family fun, and we encourage families to compare sizes and styles in person when possible.
Basketball Hoops
We offer high-quality, in-ground basketball hoops for families who want dependable performance and adjustable play for growing athletes.
Commercial Play Sets & Playgrounds
We also support larger-scale play needs with commercial play set options and rubber mulch for safer play surfaces.
Rubber Mulch & Safer Play Surfaces
To help create safer play zones, we offer rubber mulch options that can improve impact absorption and reduce the mud and maintenance that come with traditional wood mulch which is ideal for both backyard and commercial playground installations.
Visit a Showroom: Try Before You Buy
Online research is helpful, but kids don’t play online. Our superstores are designed so families can walk through fully assembled sets, check out trampoline options, and compare hoop sizes and features in person.
Many locations also offer Open Play & Parties, so children can enjoy active indoor play on assembled swing sets, trampolines, and hoops that are perfect for bad weather days and birthday celebrations.
